Theresa established the AP Economic program at Ridgefield High School in 2000. Since then, she has grown the department from one class to having over 100 students participate in the AP Macroeconomics and Microeconomics program.  Theresa has also served as a member of the Development Committee for the College Board from 2008 – 2012 and as well as been a Table Leader for Macroeconomics at the annual grading in Cincinnati, Ohio (and virtually).  She currently teaches Macroeconomics and Microeconomics at Iona College in Westchester County, NY. Her passion is to help students appreciate this important course.
Throughout her time teaching, she has been awarded Teacher of the Year from the Ridgefield school system, along with the Alfred Sloan award for Excellence in Economic Education by the CEE, the Northwestern Award for Excellence in Secondary Education, and the Adjunct Professor Award at Iona College in both 2022 and 2023. Theresa has also conducted webinars and workshops in both Macroeconomics and Microeconomics throughout the US.
