Description
Josh Blum holds English degrees from Amherst College and New York University.
Josh spent thirty-three years teaching English at Hastings High School, during which time he taught almost every course the department offered and served as department chair for eight years. He has always loved helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to be successful, and working with Carnegie Prep has been an ideal next step in his teaching career. He teaches SAT classes and tutors students privately in SAT and ACT prep, as well as academic and college essay writing.
An avid cyclist, Josh has been active in cycling-based charities for fifteen years. He is currently a board member of the Breakthrough Challenge, a ride that funds research at the University of Pennsylvania’s Abramson Cancer Center.
Josh and his wife live in South Salem, NY, where they raised their three children.

- Registration Link: The provided link looks great. I look forward to sharing this with our students and parents.
- Digital Flier: Yes, a digital registration flyer that includes the course schedule and link would be very helpful.
- Classroom Logistics: Two classrooms have been reserved and assigned to the course teachers for their scheduled days. Each room is equipped with a smartboard and Wi-Fi.
