Carnegie Prep is excited to offer a College Essay Workshop to the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich. This workshop is open to rising seniors. The course will begin by providing students with a group session where they review the art of the college essay, including topic selection, tips on writing style, and the most common pitfalls across student essays. For the remaining four sessions, students will develop and refine their essay drafts both independently as well as one-on-one with teacher, Steve Yavner. By the end of the course, each student will have one complete college essay!
