Joel is perhaps best known for his innovative approach to curriculum; his Criminal Justice elective, which merged investigative work with case law, was featured nationally on NPR. At Carnegie Prep, Joel specializes in tutoring college-level Economics and Political Science, as well as AP US History, Government, and both Micro/Macroeconomics. He adheres to a “listen first” philosophy, ensuring every session is custom-tailored to the student’s specific learning style.
