This three-class course will serve as an excellent review of all the material and skills that are assessed on the AP U.S. Government & Politics exam. The course will not only cover all the key content material, but will inform students on how the College Board exam questions are formed and how to write the most effective and high-scoring responses. Along with learning how to approach the multiple choice questions, the course will focus on how to use the core foundational documents of the U.S. Government and the core Supreme Court cases in response to the four FRQs (Free Response Questions). There will be graded practice questions and short answer responses will be commented on and reviewed throughout the course. The course will guarantee that all the critical course material and skills assessed on the exam will be taught and practiced so that students will be totally prepared by exam day.
