At Carnegie Prep, we are committed to providing our students with the highest quality test prep services. We have worked hard over the past year to develop a Digital Practice Test Platform that we are proud of and excited to share with our families and tutors. We are now looking for a Digital Testing Consultant to assist in the expansion of our content development alongside Carnegie Prep’s staff members.
The structure of the role is flexible and responsibilities may be tailored based on individual experience. If you possess some or all of the qualities below we want to hear from you!
The Digital Test Consultant will be responsible for –
Project Management:
- Manage content and deadlines related to practice test development via Google Sheets
- Regularly communicate with team of content developers, providing guidance and feedback
- Onboard any new members of the content development team
- Improve processes to create greater efficiencies of scale
- Weekly check-ins with the CP team
Content Development:
Ensure content is created in developer-specific format and structure, which is all outlined (you will be trained)! This aspect of the role is best suited for someone that has exceptional attention to detail. Most of this work takes place in Google Sheets and/or Excel. Some examples include:
- Matching correct answers/explanations
- Reviewing formatting within a spreadsheet cell
- Reviewing practice test questions that require an image to determine correct size and layout. Communicate with graphic designer on image design and implementation.
- Generating a score matrix by reviewing data collected from sample testing based on pre-defined parameters.
The Digital Test Consultant will have –
- Excellent knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Excel
- The ability to manage time (and the project) effectively while being decisive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical and communication skills within a team environment
- The ability to coach and deliver clear and actionable feedback to teammates
- A proven record of identifying underlying issues and implementing thoughtful and effective solutions
