Ryan Brink has 22 years of experience being a high school teacher, college instructor, and tutor. He has worked for the National Math and Science Initiative. He has taught all levels of math including AP Calculus AB and BC. He is also an original College Board Consultant for the AP Precalculus course that was launched in the 2023-24 school year. He has also taught AP Environmental Science, AP Physics C Mechanics, and AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism. He is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and has his M.Ed. in Gifted and Talented Instruction from the University of North Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife who is also an AP science teacher at the same high school. His favorite part of teaching is

Course Description
This four-week course will review the major content of the AP Precalculus exam (Polynomial and Rational Functions, Exponential and Logarithmic Functions, Trigonometric and Polar Functions). Significant time will be spent on the AP Exam style free response questions, as well as multiple choice items. Emphasis will be placed on the different types of questions and analysis of the scoring guidelines to understand how to construct a high-scoring response.
