With a B.A. in English from Stonehill College and additional studies at Wroxton College in Banbury, England, Pam pursued professional careers in public relations and journalism.
She previously worked as the Managing Editor of “The Coast Guard Update” and Senior Editor of “Highway & Vehicle Safety Report,” two for-profit publications focusing on the legislative activities of the U.S. Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C.

Since 2002, Pam has been a full-time English teacher at Lauralton Hall, now Chair of the English department. She teaches seminars in AP Language & Composition, British Literature, American Literature, and an elective on Fantasy Literature and Fairy Tales.

A member of the National Council of Teachers of English and a NEH Grant Recipient as an Emily Dickinson Scholar at Amherst College, Ms. Boynton recently completed a Career Teacher Fellowship at Mansfield College, Oxford University, England. She is the co-author of one book, The Drug Free Home, and her interests include reading, theatre, travel, and the ups and downs of the Boston Red Sox!
