This four-class course will review all content covered on the AP 1 Physics exam (Kinematics, Dynamics, Energy, Momentum, Circular Motion, Gravitation, Simple Harmonic Motion, Rotational Motion, and Torque). Significant time will be spent on the AP Exam style free response prompts, as well as multiple choice sections. Heavy emphasis will be placed on the different types of questions and analysis of the scoring guidelines to understand how to construct a high-scoring response. The goal of the course is for students to solidify their understanding of physics, become comfortable with the AP Exam style questions and gain confidence in their ability to maximize their performance.
